Revere Ware Warranty Replacement
Despite copious and prominent notes around our site to the contrary, people often mistakenly assume that we are the Revere Ware company and ask us for warranty replacement of their Revere Ware. We started making replacement parts because Revere Ware was no longer supporting the older cookware, or even the newer cookware, as evidenced by the lack of replacement parts listed on the official Revere Ware site.
However, they do still seem to support at least some replacement of products under the Revere Ware 25 year warranty as evidenced by this blog post, and others that we have seen. First check their warranty page to make sure your product is covered (hint, cookware is 25 years, tea kettles are one year), try contacting Revere Ware (aka World Kitchen) and ask for replacement. You can contact them online here or by phone at 1.800.999.3436. I’ve tried to contact them via email and have rarely gotten a reply, so I recommend calling them.
Revere Ware Creativity
Customer Martin was frustrated that he couldn’t find a replacement handle for his pot so he made one out of wood.
“Attached find the picture of my 3/4 quart pot with the replacement handle that I fabricated out of a 3/4″ piece of oak. I traced the shape from the old handle and cut and sanded it to the same shape. I then primed and painted it with black gloss paint. Other than the bolt that shows, it looks and handles just like the original one.”

Adapting Newer Handles for Older Pots
Quite a few peole have asked us if we plan on making replacements for the older vintage style handles. These handles, which came on the earliest Revere Ware cookware, have two screws on the narrow end of the handle and a third embedded in the hanging hook hole. Unfortunately, because they are pretty rare, we don’t plan to make them. It is possible however to adapt the newer style vintage handles to the older pots and you can find complete instructions here.
Recipe Books
The number of manuals and recipe books on our vintage materials is growing. One recent acquisition is an instructional video for the Meal’n Minutes electric pressure cooker model 806. Another one is the Famous Revere Ware Chef’s cookbook, a wonderful 300+ page cookbook from the 50’s by a chef that was fond of the copper-clad cookware. Regardless of the nostalgic aspect, it is a pretty good cookbook.
Vintage Revere Ware News
If you haven’t tried Google Alerts, it is a handy tool that sends you an email whenever new entries in Google’s search database match your favorite search terms. I monitor the search term “Revere Ware” among others and today an interesting one came up. Of course, a new entry in Google isn’t necessarily a new story; it seems that the New York Times has been digitizing its archived story database so today’s and Google has been picking up the new entries. Today’s “new” Revere Ware story was from 1988, about the president of Revere defecting over to Farber Ware.
Fitz-All Replacement Parts
I discovered that Fitz-All makes a percolator top that fits the Revere Ware percolators with the glass knob. Look for model #246 (also called large size) that claims to fit 1 1/2 inch to 2 1/2 inch holes. Known to be available at Amazon.com or search Google. We also sell them in our store.
Fitz-All also makes generic pot handles (model # 782) that fit the newer (post 1968) Revere Ware pots quite well, although they will look a little different than the originals. Although we sell a replacement handle for the single screw variety, these handles are incredibly cheap if you don’t care whether they look exactly the same or not.
