How to return a package you don’t want to accept (USPS)

(Our lovely local post office.)

Sometimes, if a shipment from us is delayed, or feared lost, we will send a replacement shipment. Customers often ask what to do if both packages eventually arrive.

According to the USPS, you simply have to mark REFUSED on the duplicate package (or letter) and put it back in the mail, and it will be returned to sender.
